Project Partner: Shishu Sarothi

This project works with Shishu Sarothi, a leading not-for-profit organisation working with a proven track record in the area of early intervention and rehabilitation, education, livelihoods, advocacy and awareness as well as protection of rights and legal aid for children and persons with disabilities in North-East India. The NGO is based in the capital city of Assam, Guwahati, where our volunteers have worked before with another NGO, UTSAH. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience in the fields of child protection and care for persons with disabilities with a leading NGO in India.

Skills required: Experience or knowledge of general administration, training, psychology, vocational skills from accounting to arts and crafts, IT skills, counselling and child protection.
