Birmingham University

InterVol was formed at the University of Birmingham in 2003 and was the first InterVol project. InterVol Birmingham currently support five overseas projects which are focused on community health and education, supporting vulnerable children in community-based centres, supporting refugees, and wildlife conservation. Projects are currently based in Bulgaria, FranceEcuador, India, and Malawi. Before going overseas on projects students support local charities and community projects in the Birmingham area to gain skills and make an impact locally.

InterVol Birmingham have placed over 500 volunteers on projects in the last fifteen years. In this time over £150,000 has been raised for community projects.
