InterVol supports the Project Nepal volunteering group at Imperial College London. The project became an official group within Imperial College Union in September 2011 and sent out its first group of volunteers to Nepal in Summer 2012.

Project Nepal works with the Maya Academy, a small charitable organisation which aims to provide free, quality education to children in Nepal. Since 2013 the project has funded the construction of a number of school classrooms and boarding houses for children who live too far away from the school, increasing access to school and allowing more children to benefit from free education.

In recent years the volunteers have also supported first aid and menstrual health education programmes in the Maya Academy schools, having received training from the charity Days for Girls.
