Our Team

The Volunteers

InterVol is run by dedicated student volunteering committees at four universities in the United Kingdom. Our volunteering committees at the University of Birmingham, University of Manchester, University of Nottingham, and SOAS work around the year to recruit our volunteers and support them in fundraising, training for, and organising their volunteering work.

The practical experience our volunteering opportunities provide are often cited by our volunteers as being a key factor in securing employment following graduation.

Trustees & Advisors

The board of trustees mentor the student committees and between them have a broad range of knowledge of volunteering both in the UK and overseas. The trustees and advisors support the InterVol university committees to run their volunteering projects and placements, build beneficial relationships with other charities and universities, and report to the Charity Commission annually.
